Corruption (in small doses)
I'm heading up to Sokone next week. This means I'm taking a taxi to the Gambian Border, crossing the border, taking abother taxi across the barge to the second gambian border, crossing that border, then catching a taxi to Sokone (near Kaolack on the map), on the other Senegalese side. I'll do it all in return on the way back.
The transport should cost about 6000 FCFA each way (maybe 15 bucks).
How much is it going to cost me in small bribes at the borders, over the entire trip?
This is 'Price is Right', African style. Closest guess gets a bottle of bissap juice (like wonderfully sweet cranberry juice), served in an old break fluid container.
